I wanna buy a gift 4 girl only known short while not flowers or chocs or jewellery. Help please?

I met a girl almost a year ago and we are just friends. however things are moving towards more than friendship and I would like to buy her a gift to show I am thinking of her. What would be good but not chocs flowers. I dont think time right for jewellery yet so please HELP

honestly, the cheapest things are the best ------ a card is 10,000 times better then flowers because it%26#039;s very thoughtful ---- flowers are used to buy people sometimes, like when you try to get them to like you ---- or when you%26#039;re saying sorry ---- a card can say ANYTHING ----- and you get to choose it -- I know it doesn%26#039;t seem like much ------- but you try it -- and then you%26#039;ll see ------ she%26#039;ll love it as long as it%26#039;s not lame ------ pick a funny one -- but something kind of sweet too ------
Reply:Get her at a time when you know she doesn%26#039;t look good- after she%26#039;s done a morning run, just woken up etc, - and then tell her, MEANINGLY, that she is beautiful.


Works all the time, and she%26#039;ll be swooning. :)

Reply:Perfume and pick a book almost close to your situation, in that way, she will get a hint, or maybe surprise her by just writing a card with a lil teddy bear labelled %26quot;just because its %26lt;day%26gt;.%26quot; .. worked for me.. :)
Reply:Whatever you get her, it should have to do with something she really likes. For example, if she likes a certain sports team, you could get her a souvenir (a shirt, stuffed animal, etc.) with their logo on it. If she likes to read, buy her a book. If she likes to write, you could buy her a nice pen set with something engraved on it. If she keeps a diary, buy her a new diary. If she likes to run, buy her a pair of wristbands or a headband.
Reply:Stuffed animals are always good, or maybe a CD if you know of one she would like.
Reply:You need to tell us more about this girl...what does she like to do in her spare time, what does she spend her own money on, what music does she like, where does she like to go etc etc.





I find the best gifts are the simple ones that don%26#039;t often cost much but show that you really know the person and have thought about a suitable gift.

Reply:how about ripping a CD of her/your favourite tracks? inexpensive, personal and original.
Reply:A simple piece of jewellery would do the trick, suss out her taste and go with that. If she wears it, then you are reminded that you have made an effort with her and she can wear something she likes and appreciates. It%26#039;ll last longer than flowers and is not edible and fattening!
