Ladies, are FLOWERS still an acceptable gift?

Oh yes.


Had a boyfriend that would pick me huge bouquets of wildflowers and leave them on my front porch. Have a husband that once filled every vase I own with 25 roses and 25 carnations.


I have a flower stand on the way home and we get very busy sometimes and one anniversary I stopped on the way home and got 3 bouquets of flowers and laid them on the front set of my car. When I walked in I said %26quot;I have a few things in my car, can you give me a hand bringing them in?%26quot;


My husband walked in a minute later with all the flowers and when I saw him I said %26quot; Oh how beautiful%26quot; Threw my arms around him and gave him a kiss. He just smiled.

Ladies, are FLOWERS still an acceptable gift?
Yes, but i agree you need to watch the colors. Yellow means friendship... A single red rose is nice

Women do dislike certain flowers. For example I use to hate roses because at my great grandma%26#039;s funeral I was given roses and since then I%26#039;d cry every time I saw some. I%26#039;m getting over that now though.
